Victor Osimhen inspired Napoli’s historic Champions League quarterfinal qualification as he scored twice in their 3-0 (5-0 on aggregate) victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in the second leg of the round of 16 tie on Wednesday night.

Osimhen broke the deadlock for the hosts in the last action of the first half after he was set up by Matteo Politano. His powerful header had the Partenopei fans bouncing at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona stadium.

He completed his brace in the 53rd minute after he was fed by captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

Polish midfielder Piotr Zieliński wrapped up the scoring for Napoli with a brilliant spot kick in the 64th minute.

With the victory, the Azzurri became the third Italian team to qualify for the Champions League this season, joining Inter and Milan.

Osimhen also made history as the first Napoli player to score in both legs of a Champions League knockout tie.
