The newly appointed Director-General of National Youth Service Corps, Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim has warned staff to shun rumour mongering, laziness, truancy, late-coming and other negative tendencies that may affect their cordial working relationship and also the overall goal of his administration.
He stated this today during his maiden interaction with staffs on grade levels 04 to 14 at the National Directorate Headquarters, Maitama in Abuja.
The DG, who reiterated his commitment to staff welfare appealed to them to cultivate good human relationship and take their jobs seriously while promising an open-door administration.
“Your entitlements would be given to you as at when due. There is always reward for hardwork and for the Scheme to move to the next level, all of us must work together as brothers and sisters”.
“Avoid discrimination, shun rumour-mongering, shun bike-biting, religious and ethnic sentiments”, the DG said.
Brigadier-General Ibrahim also promised to rejig ventures and Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Departments in order to make them more vibrant through the support of stakeholders and other collaborating agencies.
