Fast-rising musician, Naira Marley, has reportedly been granted bail from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Justice I.N. Oweibo of the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos had ordered his remand on Monday.
The singer, born Azeez Fashola was expected to be in the custody of the anti-graft agency till the hearing of his bail application on May 30.
However, fresh reports on social media revealed that Marley was freed that evening.
He is standing trial on 11 counts of fraud and cybercrime.
The ‘Am I a Yahoo Boy?’ singer was arrested on May 10 alongside colleague, Omoniyi Raphael, popularly known as Zlatan, and three others.
Zlatan Ibile and the others were released on Tuesday last week.
