Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the governor of Kano state, has stated he has no bitterness toward anyone during his eight years in office.

Malam Muhammad Garba, the commissioner for information and internal affairs, released the governor’s Sallah message in Kano yesterday. The governor said that after serving as governor of the state for more than 20 years, he had every reason to thank Allah and leave with no resentment toward anyone.

The statement claims that the governor also renewed his request for pardon from anyone he may have offended while in office.

Governor Ganduje stated that since he had already forgiven those who had wronged him, they should do the same for him.

The declaration also urged the new administration to see that all worthwhile projects started by his administration that time prevented their completion for the benefit of state residents are completed.

Government, he said, is all about continuity, and no project funded by tax dollars is worth quitting.
