The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, LP, Peter Obi has said he is desperate to “see Nigeria work.”

He said his passion to see the country return to the path of progress made him confronted the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, for not fielding a credible candidate in the person of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo in the just concluded presidential election.

Obi stated this at the birthday party of Ovation Magazine publisher, Dele Momodu, in London, United Kingdom, recently.

He said, “I’m desperate to see Nigeria work. I don’t hide it any day and time. I even confronted APC; if you want the country to work, why didn’t bring Osinbajo? So, that we can have people who want to work for the country and are healthy and good.”

He said Nigeria needs an agile leader who can work round the clock.
