Genevieve Nnaji has debunked news peddled by some platforms that she defended people from Imo state following the alleged attack by people from another tribe in Lagos.
The report had said that the actress staunchly advocated for the need to stop killing the Igbos in Lagos and anywhere else because this might lead to troubles.
In fact, it was said that she had quoted a native proverb to this effect: “Isi Kote Ebu, Ogbaa Ya” which means “the head that pushes the wasp hive receives the sting.” The actress has, however, come out to say that this is not the case. She totally debunked the claim and rebuked those who peddled the news.
Recently, Genevieve Nnaji recently took to celebrating 20 years in acting. The veteran actress whose debut directorial movie has hit the roof and broken it was all too happy to have come this far.
