Incoming administration in Ekiti state has raised the alarm over an alleged moves by the present government to hurriedly dispose off some landed properties belonging to the state.

The allegation was coming just as the cloud over hurried recruitment of about 2,000 staff into the state civil service is yet to settle.

Special Adviser to the Governor elect, Mr.Yinka Oyebode in a statement in Ado Ekiti stated that properties already slated for sale by Fayose administration include a parcel of land in Akure, belonging  to Ekiti state a livestock farm, as well as newly constructed market all in Ado Ekiti.

He pointed out that the administration, whose tenure elapses on the 16th of October, has been making some clandestine moves to sell off the properties through shaddy arrangements.

According to him, prospective buyers should be weary of buying those properties as the incoming administration will not give effects to such transactions.
On the ongoing recruitment of new workers into the service, the Governor elect image maker pointed out that it was unfortunate that an administration that could not pay its workforce was dabbling into fresh recruitment.
However, Special Assistant to FAYOSE on new media, Mr Lere Olayinka said Mr.Fayose remains as Governor till October 16 and that any of his actions or pronouncements remains binding.
