The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has reacted to the peaceful resolution of the feud between its national chairman Comrade Adams Oshiomhole and Governor Godwin Obaseki thanking President Muhammadu Buhari for the mediation role he played in ending the state’s House of Assembly crisis.
Recall that GovernorObaseki and his predecessor Oshiomhole were embroiled in a cold war that threatened the existence of the party in the state following the election of the State Assembly Speaker and his Deputy.
The APC in Edo State also appreciated the party’s national leader, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu; the Oba of Benin, Oba Ewuare II; Business magnate, Alhaji Aliko Dangote; Governor Fayemi Kayode of Ekiti State; and his Kaduna State counterpart, Nasiru El-Rufai for the different roles they played at ensuring a lasting peace in the Edo state chapter of the APC.
Edo state APC Chairman on Tuesday confirmed that all issues have now been settled regarding the State Assembly. Therefore, all lingering feud exists no more.
In a tweet on Tuesday on his official handle, @EdoStateAPC, sighted by TheNigerian News, the party scribe wrote;
“Edo Assembly feuds over. Congratulations @A_Oshiomhole, @GovernorObaseki and to all Edolites. Now, let’s focus on #Edo2020. APC!!! #NextLevel.
“Thank you @MBuhari @AsiwajuTinubu @kfayemi @elrufai @AlikoDangote and our Monarch, HRM, Oba Ewuare II. @OfficialAPCNg @APCUKingdom”.
