President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to calls by many Nigerians for him to constitute his cabinet.

The president while addressing the leadership of the National Assembly during a dinner on Thursday night in Abuja, disclosed that he is under pressure to unveil his ministerial nominees.

“I am very much aware of it and I am under tremendous pressure on it,” he said.

President Buhari added, “The last cabinet which I had, most of them, a majority of them I didn’t know.

“I had to accept their names and recommendation from the party. I worked with them for three and a half years.”

Recall that many Nigerian immediately after the president officially assumed office after his inauguration on May 29, 2019 have been calling on the president to quickly inaugurate his cabinet.

Many lobbyists have also been having sleepless nights and making desperate political moves to ensure that they make the list.
