Ex-Super Eagles skipper, Nwankwo Kanu, has urged Nigerians to “pray” ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) quarterfinal clash with South Africa.
The three-time winners face the rainbow nation on Wednesday for a spot in the last four.
Nigeria and South Africa are quite familiar with each other, with the West Africans enjoying a lion share of wins.
However, Stuart Baxter’s men recorded an impressive victory in Uyo before sharing the spoils at home when both sides last clashed.
A former international, Kanu believes the team needs all the support they can get.
The ex-Arsenal forward made this known on Twitter on Wednesday.
